Those are amazing. Me and my friends are getting into token making. Actually just stripped a few foils last night. Where do you get the templates for the "beast" and the "3/3" ? Looking amazing btw. Good work

I have made me templates for every single token I play...;) in case of tokens I scanned beast token in photoshop I made layers from boxes I needed...;) nothing difficult... The difficult part comes with cuting...:D

Mhmm I use the x-acto knife and ruler... When I do not care that much, if it is only for my use then I have quite good paper cuter but there is always a danger that you can cut (trim) the card...;)

With that gold stuff (from your videos) it looks like less is more is the way to go.

Anyway I cannot use less gold... And it looks sort of cool... The thing is I have tried classic metalic film an it simply does not look that well with the current image... But of course I get that someone can think that it could be too much...;)

No no, I mean less ink on the gold film. The vexing devil has a busy background which I think takes away from the awesomeness of the gold film.

Where as your beast rider token is great as its more minimalist and allows for more awesome gold reflectiveness.

@Taysby Hi resolution prints on 2,5 mil thin metallic films important parts are cut out and then sticked on the original card.

Beautiful. The sheer creativity and ability of some people astound me sometimes. I can only imagine how much precision, and time that these things take, to say nothing of the cost in the circumstance. I often wish I had the skill to do alter art for myself, it must be gratifying having something that you not only made for yourself, but something no one else in the world has. I applaud you and all the other alter artists out there.

For proxy cards:

Depends on the tournament. 
Most likely at fnm no one will care as long as you have the same amount of actual cards if they are expensive cards like {voice of resurgence}.  If its an {arbor elf} no one will care if you don't have the actual cards.
At something like a pro tour qualifier, they are VERY strict.  I know someone who couldn't use a normal foil, because it bends so people can find it and cheat.  And sometimes people would grab it in a cut because it takes up more room without knowing it.

For altered art
For fnm it's a go.
At pro tour qualifiers and the like, it depends on e judge.  There are a multitude of reasons they wouldn't allow it. People identify cards by e art, so if they think a {giant growth} is an {emrakul, the aeons torn} they migt reveal a {force of will} in their hand, and then you have the advantage.  And they might take up more space in the sleeve too.

According to the dci tournament rules the alter cards are legal if they meet specific requirements.. All important boxes must be visible and texts readable. The art should not confuse your opponent. I played many of my Alters on last GPT with no problems.

Anyway the last word has always judge...;)

How much are we talking for these cards, you said the materials weren't cheap, but I would absolutely love all of my tokens remade.  You do outstanding work and I am so jelly right now it makes me cry.

Depends on quantity and work time... But I guess for tokens it would be somewhere between 5-7$ per piece... ;)

I would gladly pay that. The major ones I would want would be the ones I use in my selesnia deck. (Knight, centuar, vigilance elemental, voice elemental, and wurm) keep me posted if you are willing to do this for me

The characters?  Cloud Strife, Sephiroth, and Zack Fair were all members of SOLDIER in the Final Fantasy VII era. I just think it would be awesome to play {Elspeth Tirel}, use her minus ability, and drop those three.

It is proxy card... It is not alternated card... Proxies are not tournament legal... (besides of few exceptions) You can see it on the shield, it is dropping shadow to the text... It is not possible with alter card...;)

Oh no, I like that side of life.  I read manga for god sakes, you know how many of those pictures go into the manga I read?  Too many!  However I like it because it fits.  If a magic card has that on it at my FNM, I debate on playing it.  I will be harshly judged, where as manga, other people have the same thing, so they know what I'm reading, and they enjoy it too.

Plus, if a GF reads yaoi all the time, (understandable, the friend group we are from is very odd) I get to be forcefed it.  Although these pictures have no effect on me, I get sick and tired of it when it is unnessicary.   

I get that not everyone can like it...;)

But I use alters also to distract my opponent...;) There is only one rule I would not break and it is nudity...;) provocative yes... Nude not...;)

Anyway most of my designs are not provocative...;)

May I remind you that in the first real test of the spartan and mjolnir armor together cortana was with master chief, she calculated the exact timing to not only dodge a heat seeking missle, but push it out of the way so that the explosion wouldn't kill him.

I have made those proxies as a comission for my friend...;) they are gone...;) anyway those are proxies... Means you cannot use them in tournaments where are not proxies allowed...;)

If you wanted him altered you would have to either pay for the card twice (if he has it) or send him the card so he could alter it and it would only cost maybe $20ish.

That looks a lot better except for the fact the white oval isn't centered anymore ;).  You know what would look sexy, is one where it's whole robe was moaning ghost faces of the condemned.  Like the one face you have but in more agony and whispy so it flows right into toe one next to it, while keeping the shading the same so it still has depth.  That would take forever and a day to render though...

Oh yeah it would take a time...:D It is 5:47 in the morning here... I did not sleep yet and my head is not working properly...:D Spent last 8 hrs by doing few drafts of tokens...:D

Depends what do you want from me... I can make it as a proxy card... then I would charge 5$ plus shipping or as an Alter Card that would be quite expensive. I charge 15$ as an alteration fee... With low cost card like this I would charge less but still it would not be less than 10$.

The alters are...well amazing, no other words for it.  Proxies are nice but they just dont compare.  Take it from a 4th time buyer, already have plans for a 5th.  Just be careful this guy loves taking your hard earned money :p

Like the first nether void best, don't quite understand the chains, does the player have an option of to discard or not.  And for the land, I need 1 for each of my decks :p

In iMtG database the chains are keyworded better I guess than it was on original card...:) Simply it is like if you would draw a card except of the first one that you normally draw in ur turn, then you would discard a card instead of drawing that card first and if you would discard a card this way then you draw a card. but if you would not have card to discard then you would mill one and draw nothing...

Example... chains are on table you would cast Sphinx's Revelation for four... then you would have to first discard four cards and then you could draw four cards. If you would not have 4 cards to discard in ur hand you would have to mill 4 and draw nothing...:D

Ahh.  That isn't fun at all, only a meany would use that in a deck...

Few people play it in Legacy decks...:D And believe me it is not fun to play with if you are not ready for that card...:D

Alright, since I've made an {anax and cymede} commander and this is Greek mythology.  Could you make the same card with different names, and a bad ass art.  I think a good combo would be Ares and Athena.  Ares = first strike, war.  Athena = vigilance, strategy.  Would be a kick ass card and I believe you can pull it off.

Honestly I am strugling with art for that card... I am thinking of going with its original, extended art possibly, if I will not find or render something better...;)

A 100-card EDH deck would cost $700. I'd consider that getting off easy, compared to what I paid for the one I have now. -.-

But with alternate art foils, that deck would be so ballin' peeps would quit when you laid your first land.

Mhmm problem with Zur is that the character is really specific as I wrote before I was strungling with the art... The best way would be to use his original art and extend it... Maybe enhance it a little... I can take a look into that...;)

I like the first Mayael better as well but it is comission for Truffel and if he likes better the second version then it is up to him...:) Everyone has slightly different taste... And the Zur... I am not sure if I personally like either of them, I still think that the original one is simply too specific character to be replaced by any art...:D
