A couple of Problems with the App

Hello.
I have been using this fantastic app for some years now, and absolutely love it. It's basically my organizer for everything with my Magic collection. Thanks for the great work, Piotr!
I have also been lurking the forums.

However, in the last months, I have been experiencing some problems, so I decided to register and tell you about it, because they're getting really annoying, to the point that Using the app is becoming a bit unnerving.

I'm using almost exclusively binders, and the problems (that I have with all recent versions of the app) are:

1) in binders, the app checks for prices every 5 seconds or so, freezing for 4-5 seconds. It makes navigating binders very difficult and slow. I' ve bought the offline cache for prices, but it still wants to download them and update them constantly. Basically, every time there is a red price on a card, it lags for some seconds. Is there any way to turn off prices or price updating?

2) manual sorting of cards in binders is bugged (the app moves cards randomly and often shows duplicates that aren't there), and gets completely erased every time there is a database update. Old versions of iMtg didn't do this. I've been using manual sorting for years, but in the last couple of years I had to give up in It because there was no point in spending hours moving cards to have them shuffled randomly after  a couple of weeks.

I truly hope you can fix those issues, because the app was almost perfect (for me, at least) a couple of years ago, and I would really like to have it perfect again!

Thanks!

Piotr

1) In Binder the prices should refresh if they are displayed, outdated and you stopped scrolling and you have Offline Cache unlocked. When in Binder, tap the bottom-right Menu and tap Details of displayed entries to change from Price to something else. Hope this helps?
2) I'll look into it, thanks!

Thanks. Disabling prices worked perfectly!

Looking forward for a possible fix for manual sorting in binders (especially for the bug that erases it after a database update).

Keep up the good work!

Piotr

Cool ;] Which version are you using currently?

7.1.3

But I have been getting this problem with all previous versions in the last year and half.

Custom sorting in binders was always a bit buggy (for example, sometimes it placed two cards in the same spot, making one invisible), especially with manual dragging, but with some work it was ok.

Now it just "forgets " the order of cards after each database update (it places them in random order), so there is no point in spending time moving them. :(
