First off, I can't believe that he didn't get anything but a wrap on the knuckles for "egging us on", if that's really what you saw I can't comprehend you. I don't think him calling me an inbred is much worse than any insult I hurled at him. Yes, I swore. Never a punishable offence before. I didn't insult farther than he did yet I get.

I'm done with a place that is more concerned with banning contributing members of the community and supporters of ideologies our dictator can't handle than trolls. The community has gone out the window since the "purging of the mob".

After being a part of this community on and off for a few years over various accounts, i have observed many things.

For starters, you aren't allowed to have different beliefs to or share something that Kim Jong Piotr disagrees with.

Another notable thing i have observed is how dead this app is lately. After the "purge", the people banned arent the only ones that didnt post. Other active people of the "community" (cough dictatorship) lost all interest.

So have fun Link with whatever you move on to, how sad you must be to longer be able to post in a dead forum.

Edit: Remember Piotr, you are the reason your "property" is barely used anymore

I couldn't agree more. I also have been here for a very long time, almost sense the start of this app/forum. It makes me very sad to see how dead this community has become, all because one person went on a power trip and couldn't handle other people opinions and views. This was such a thriving place before the "purge" and now it is a sad boring shell of its former self, all because Piotr let his ego get in the way.

Seconded. This forum really has been dieing. At this point I don't know if it can recover, we have lost so many active and contributing members. And have gained so few.

First:
I didn't ban you.

Regarding the language: it's actually been a long time forum rule to not get too vulgar, but we let users have a relaxed environment when it comes to minor offenses.

Instead of listening to what my judgement on the issue was, you complained & pointed fingers. We ended up suggesting all parties offended by others, to simply ignore them. I've definitely ignored members in the past before becoming a mod, it made headaches not appear.

I don't see eye to eye with Piotr or taysby on .politics., so I don't actually participate in those threads
PlentY of comments I've read here recently would have triggered a younger version of me, but why play devils advocate? In the past, both threads of .politics. where the ban hammer fest came down were threads I started for discussions (which clearly became out of control) and so instead of making this community a ban hammer one, I'd rather give a viable realistic solution.


No one was right in that thread, hence why ignore buttons are useful, I can't force you to ignore someone, but it would help the situation.

and if you're going to write something that could potentially single out a type of individual, expect a potential backlash, and most definitely don't be sour when you're licking your wounds

Plenty of people get dramatic and leave, the forum will evolve itself, people come and go & most just lurk.
