Using The iMtG Forums

With many new faces here at the forums, I thought I would take a second to talk about the forum and how we can use it best:

If you want to link to a card, simply put curly brackets around the name.  Spelling, punctuation and capitalization all matter, so double check.  Go from "...i think jace is better in this deck..."  to "...I think {Jace, Memory Adept} is better in this deck..."

When starting a thread, use a descriptive subject heading.  It helps to keep things organized and easy for users to find things at a glance.  If you are posting in the Rules section, a subject "Question" really isn't helping anyone.

Try to stay on topic.  Obviously conversations can wander as they go on, which is normal.  But avoid "breaking the stream" to mention something unrelated or to pose a different question.  If you have a new idea, is deserves its own thread! B)

This app is constantly getting new functionality, so keep your eyes here for more features.

You nailed it. Maybe just that the current version allows for minor spelling mistakes and is not case sensitive.

Also also, you update your Private Page in iMtG main menu, while you're registered and logged in in Gathering.

Last but not least, make sure you are familiar with the law of this forum.

You can also access the forum from any web browser here:

You can now use +{Card} button (top right, while editing a post) to lookup and insert a card from Card Database.

After version 3.16.0 the button will look like an open book and will be blue-ish.
