Calculated Denial     {U}
Sorcery

Counter target spell.

"Drivari has a vast mind, and a large resource of mana.  However it does take him awhile to use more powerful spells.

Interesting...
So it would only work if given flash?
Yup

Archive of Misery   {3}{B}{B}

At the beginning of your upkeep, each player must sacrifice a permanent, lose 1 life, and discard a card.

Seems like an Enchantment personally

Broodmother's Cavern
Legendary Land Mythic Rare
{Tap}: Add two mana of any color to your mana pool. Spend this mana only to cast Dragon creature spells or activate abilities of dragons.

{2}{R}{G}: Target dragon gains trample and haste until end of turn.

"Under the Broodmother, even the tiniest whelp can become a ruler of the skies."

I was inspired to make a new set and here's a key card from it:

Vythis, King of Nobles                         {2}{W}{B}
Legendary Creature -- Human Noble              M
Lifelink
Whenever a nonland permanent enters the battlefield under an opponent's control, that player sacrifices that permanent unless they pay {X} where X is the number of permanents they control of that type.
                                                                      5/3

5/9 Turtle

These are two of the cards that i made for my set, they may need some tweaking let me know what you think

Banish- do all creatures have to enter at same time? Also. It being {B}{W} I might make it Spirit creatures but depends on your set really.

Well the {B}{W} could use a little tweaking.  Not because of the card itself, but because of the keyword banish.  When working with creature types, you must be wary of the bane of creature type abilities, changelings.  Without them, this ability would need slight tweaking to make it more balanced, but with them, it becomes a problem.

My suggestion is to do something like this;

Banish 4 (Whenever a creature enters the battlefield and there are at least 4 creatures that share a type with this creature, exile target creature)

5/9 Turtle

That is perfect, thanks for the help!

How's the {B}{G} creature

I like that mechanic. Fits the flavor and the colors and themes very well.  {Regrowth} on a stick :-)

Maybe make the creature a 1/6, and saying all other treefolks get +1/+1.  I don't see anything wrong with Regrow personally.

In the end all of them are just minor suggestions, nice job :)

In response to the enchantment thing envolving the archive(s) Dostore (and I am so sorry for botching that name up if I did) is that the archives are physical things, in Drivari's Library (I've been making this my new project).

Archive of Fortune    {2}{R}{R}
Artifact

At the beginning of each players' upkeep, that player must discard their hand, then draw seven cards, then discard 3 cards at random.

"I don't usually participate in games of chance, but when I do, I usually study here first."

May I ask what's the whole Drivari thing?

I don't know, I'm forming his character overtime.  It's an interesting process for me. :)

Seems to me he's a scholar of some sort dabbling in Grixis colors?
