Not sure how you could cast your deck. You could however DRAW your deck. If you can cast you deck, can someone explain?

this would be useless in theros draft sense there are no elves in theros

Okay? There are elves in Standard, as well as EDH. Theros isn't the only set out there that's being played silly.
