{willbreaker} + {confusion in the ranks}.
- Whenever CitR triggers on a creature you control, you steal a permanent.
- whenever another creature enters, you'll end up with that creature. (Either they target something of yours, or you steal the target before the exchange).

EDIT: WB only triggers on CREATURES..

I'm having trouble with this one. Willbreaker is only for creatures, right? And if the oppenent plays something, why do you get something? They don't target their own creature, just yours, so that wouldn't qualify. And if you play something and target theirs, you get it before the swap happens...so does that keep you from having to swap? Is that how that one works?

I must be missing something on the first part. I really like WB and would love more synergy ideas with that card

You are totally correct. Creatures only.

What happens is: you cast a creature, CitR triggers, you target their creature, WB triggers, you gain control of the targeted creature, then CitR's only target has become illegal, countering the ability. You keep the creature though. (Pretty much like {throwing dagger}, becoming a target is enough to trigger WB).

2nd scenario:
In a 1v1, your opponent will target a creature you control, and you exchange creatures, so you end up with the creature that just entered.
In a multiplayer match, however, your opponent could target a creature from player C.
Yet, the triggered ability is controlled by the controller of CitR, you. So, even if player B chooses target creature you don't control at that time, WB will steal it before the exchange.

EDIT: for reference:

112.8.: The controller of an activated ability on the stack is the player who activated it. The controller of a triggered ability on the stack (other than a delayed triggered ability) is the player who controlled the ability's source when it triggered, or, if it had no controller, the player who owned the ability's source when it triggered. To determine the controller of a delayed triggered ability, see rules 603.7d–f.

that's an emerging modern deck I'm my area. Uses blue to protect tainted remedy and prevent it being killed off.

I'm making a list now. Is blue really worth it nah?

i think  {Switcheroo} or the sorts and  {Sanguine Bond} could be a secondary wincon also if they get rid of Remedy

edit: well i guess it doesnt work. they can just not pay the upkeep lol

if they exile your tainted remedy, you lose haha you want blue support. I've tried an all orzhov build and it wasn't strong enough

Can I see a list?

yeah i caught that. do  {Devour Flesh} instead, along with the {Sanguine Bond}.

ZFireFrost

{Progenitor Mimic} +  {Master Biomancer} you have an exponential growth and can throw out creatures as behemoths. Really fun with Primordial Hydra ;D

Woah. Pay 1 and find a land, deal 3 to something and etb/death triggers galore

LinkCelestrial

{Omnath, Locus of Rage} + {Perilous of Forays} + {Amulet of Vigor} is "infinite". As long as you have 7 or more basics its gg.
