But a combo is usually dependant only on itself. This just seems too unreliable

starting with me ill put for example a creature then before opponent puts a creature too, ill end of turn, so that im the only one played a creature

The problem with that is that you can't cast a spell or activate an ability in the middle of a cards effect.

I mean it never will because legend rule, but otherwise, draw a card, ping, draw, ping..

Edit: wait, it won't work for a different reason. They aren't the same, so Firemind drawing a card and dealing damage won't cause you to draw a card through Dracogenius, and vice versa. But they can be on the field at the same time, which seems weird

They can be on the field simultaneously just like all the other scotch listed

You confuse the legendary rule with the planeswalker rule
The legend rule says they must be the same English name whereas the planeswalker rule says shared type

If niv mizzet were a walker then his type would be niv mizzet and I couldn't do it, but instead I have two legends that are completely different cards so I'm good

And the interaction is deal damage or draw cards and one or both of them do something, it's no chain or anything but a serious synergy

right. I just felt as if it were wrong for them to be on the field at the same time. It's all good though. My mistake
