Probably not, it seems like it's pretty bad, even in standard

yeah, was thinking the same, and probably cannot be used or sub in {Noble Hierarch} in infect deck

The card's strictly worse than {Woodland Druid}. One's a 1/2 for {G} with no abilities, and the other is a 1/1 for {G} with no abilities.

The card's strictly worse than {Woodland Druid}. One's a 1/2 for {G} with no abilities, and the other is a 1/1 for {G} with no abilities.

No abilities?  I mean, if you don't count Renown I guess that's true...

The problem with Hierarch is that it has to connect to get its abilities. Unless you drop him turn 1, that's not happening.

In the words of Pat Sullivan "Who Carres?" Hierarch is a sweet card design that may be a terrible 1 mana creature or it could be dope in the right deck to me it's ok but I can see it in a few decks I think it has a shot. Saying it's worse than a 1/2 is dumb as .love. lol

I agree that he's terrible actually. Having to connect with a creature in order for it to be a mana dork is pretty terrible. At his best he's a turn 3 accelerator. Why would you invest so much into a (maybe) {Llanowar Elf}? Just run {Elvish Mystic} and call it good.

Because one-drop mana dorks are too powerful for Standard now. You'll have to settle for {Leaf Gilder}.

Yeah, being able to tap for any color and swing for damage in the same turn isn't worth it...

So your opponents always have a blocker for every creature you have out?  I know I'd rather block a siege rhino than a mana dork, and I swing with my mana dorks all the time.
