Shocks and fetches slowly increasing with modern growing in popularity.

KTK fetches to hit $16-$20 eventually (mid)?
RTR shocks should be at $15 each again relatively soon also IMO

But the idea I guess could be to at there end step you cast the quicken and the days undoing. That way you get all the cards and the turn before your opponent. I agree and I'm not saying it will be good but I guess that could be the idea

Yepp that's why people are picking them up. Im fairly certain it won't work out.

In regards to pile driver, it stayed above 20 from Gatecrash to Khans, then dropped to about 15. Now it's rising again

If I look at the graph I see it shortly dipped to 500 just to get back where it came from (TCG high that is)
Edit: also, there's only one NM at tcg right now, at high
