I do not believe big vendors should do that. It isn't ethical to artificially raise prices.

It's called mtg finance. Make money on cardboard. People have been doing this for years.

There is a difference between picking up a card to speculate and artificially raising card prices through mass purchases

I see that a lot, cards with 0 dollar prices. I assumed that meant no current offers on tcg, or am I totally wrong on that one?

Yeah, it was bought out, there should be a 😛 emoji because I'm excited to see what they go for now. It was around 30$ which is a heavy price for an uncommon. Everything excluded from MM15 is on its way up it seems

I dunno how the tax system in the U.S. is, but here in the Netherlands, vending sites like EBay and 'marktplaats' (lit. Marketplace, a popular Dutch reselling site) are actually monitored by the Dutch IRS. Should a vendor be selling vast quantities over said channels, he can expect a tax quotation over his sold value. As a company, you pay BTW (21% of selling price) but can deduct the BTW you payed when buying the product, so you only pay over your profits.
If, as a private reseller, you weren't expecting that though, it can eat away at your profits quite hard. Assuming the $500 bucks you made, $105,- goes to the state.

Edit: or worse, when you don't have receipts of your buying the product...
