He's really good ChannelFireball talked about him and the impact he'd make on standard :D

He??? what do you mean he???

That is Clever Girl the Raptor for sure!!!
Obviously in the past on Tarkir, there was a Neo-Elder Dragon War, and he was on the losing side. Stripped of his wings, he got po'd. So now he kills first, don't ask questions later...
Or he's a po'd reject from Jurassic Park...

DirtyMustachio

I'm sorry I chuckle at the {deathmist raptor} art

He's got this derpy run going on that reminds me of the derp titan running on attack on Titan

MuggyWuggy

I had to play against it in limited, very difficult to eternally get rid of in that, so even in constructed he will be nasty
Morph is a thing now for standard

Also w megamorph: it is much cheaper than most morph mechanics which is nice

DirtyMustachio

{utter end} may see more play with all these different card types being annoying to hit

MuggyWuggy

Removal will be determined by bfz

Sad day when heros downfall is gone and all we got is silumgars command or utter end

DirtyMustachio

Ewwww, don't even want to think about it, I guess there's always {ultimate price}  ...

LinkCelestrial

Watch the meta shift to make {Ultimate Price} useless and all removal be mediocre burn and 4+ spells.

DirtyMustachio

Well if not {ultimate price}

Wouldn't {radiant purge} work?

That doesn't hit walkers

DirtyMustachio

Can't we just say we were spoiled by hero's downfall, I mean we never could really hit walkers before.. Although it's almost more relevant now than it ever was before

{Borehole}, things like {Bramblecrush}.

{Ugin, the Spirit Dragon}  demands an answer. He's pretty much pay {8} win in three turns.

MuggyWuggy

Ugin ultimate into kiora Garruk and silumgar usually end in a scoop :)

DirtyMustachio

{dreadbore} was good but not hero's downfall

And bramblecrush is strictly worse than utter end

I mean they'll probably revive some sort of {oblivion ring} / {banishing light} in mtg origins

I'm just saying there've been options. If there isn't I'll be shocked.
