If its barely a format then why are several lgs adding it to the schedule and adding prize support?

I can't speak to what your LGS are doing but there probably isn't too much room for multiple casual formats at most stores. I'd imagine it's either this or commander for most LGS but people can play whatever they want to play. I just personally can't imagine paying $55 for a $.50 cent card.

My LGS does TL on Saturday at noon and it is going pretty well.  I am sure these are the same things that was said when EDH was becoming mainstream.

People will swag their decks, TL is more popular than commander in my area lately.

If we look at EDH also, it's proven to make card prices inflate, so TL should be no exception

Also it's easier to host TL over commander multiplayer

TL is traditionally 1v1 allowing Swiss to occur. So it's easier for TOs to do prize support  and rulings. Also matches tend to be at about the same pace of a standard match.

They save that slot for a lot of different things like sealed or draft before they do the regular 6pm draft.

I think TL will become a regular thing at the shop now.  And everything muggy said is very true about the format.

At the LGS where I work we are adding TL league on Thursday. As of now we do nothing on Thursday so this is an additional sanctioned event night. I could not be more excited for it.

Four mana for possibility at six mana of value? Or if you want to combo it with {Congregation at Dawn}, seven mana for six mana of value. I'm not impressed, three CMC is way too restrictive for green.

Yes, but there are much more efficient ways to crank out value in green. That's what I'm saying.

Its easily splashable and at instant speed. We will see what happens with it, but I'm a fan.
