So here's the deal, my LGS has a foil  {Azusa, Lost but Seeking} That I want a lot more than I probably should. I am thinking about trading in a bunch of stuff towards it including a  {Ugin, the Spirit Dragon} Which I kinda want and a  {True-Name Nemesis}. What do you see these 3 cards doing? Do you see Azusa in mm2?
Azusa has a decent chance a MM reprint because it has modern, EDH, and casual appeal. Ugin seems to have bottomed out and most likely won't get a reprint until next spring's duel deck or even a possible Modern Masters 2019 (aka not for a while if at all). TNN is a legacy staple and as such is hard to reprint, so his price will likely stay consistent also. Basically: the card most likely to go down is Azusa, and you probably won't lose anything by waiting and seeing what is in MM2015, but the card may be sold from you LGS before MM2015 is fully spoiled. In the end it is your call, but unless time is of the essence, I'd say wait.

Blah, I hate the voice of reason. I'll wait for mm2, for some reason I see her being reprinted.

I got a question...why isn't {into the wilds} worth anything? It seems like a great way to play more than one land a turn, especially with {sultai ascendancy} or {taigams scheming}. I'm running a sultai manifest right now, and it does very well with ramping the crap out of the deck, along side {trail of mystery}. Is it a standard thing , or just too expensive?

the_intelligentleman

It's also not standard legal. 😐

I think there are just better options. {Rite of Passage} being one of them, as you don't have to guarantee a land on top deck and you still draw a card. (Your deck does have to be built to abuse this so you can outrace your opponent but that's easy enough).

My dad had a deck with {Garruk's Horde}, {Into the Wilds} and {Lost in the Woods}. It got really hard to land damage sometimes.

Someone told me to check the price of {Bind}

Whoever it was was dumb

imFourth of Phils

{Tarmogoyf} and {Karn Liberated} spoiled on MM2, is there a chance for price down?

MuggyWuggy

Depends on how many get circulated
Many decks love tarm

Seems like it'd be higher... It's a really powerful effect.

He's only Legacy and Vintage legal and neither of those formats really want to pay four mana for anything.

He's an EDH staple and that's where his real value comes in. If he was Modern legal he might see some fringe play. Maybe even end up in a serious deck.

 {Sygg, River Guide} foil

Was $6 on Sunday when I bought em all 😆

Can't imagine that being a huge money card. You Speccers are creating your own warped market for "tiny leaders" which is barely a format. Y'all are crazy.

MuggyWuggy

If its barely a format then why are several lgs adding it to the schedule and adding prize support?
