I truley hope {Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver} becomes a staple in an eternal format.
Tiny leader mill deck?

Estel2931

I have a hard time seeing Ashiok being a staple in external formats...personally I think ashiok is more of a sideboard card, but hey, I could be way off with that guess. Like I said before, only time will tell :p

Its possible Lilis price will "burst", but I think she's gonna stay right around where she is. Mostly due to how well she works and the " limited availability " with only being printed in Innistrad. We shall see :D

I hate Tiny Leaders so much I pretend it doesn't exist.

They tried putting it in M15, they may put in M16, it is also Modern Masters 2016/17 bait.

I know they tried in M15....which is the reason I think she will see a standard reprint

Do you also have issues with the Munchkinland scene on The Wizard of Oz?

It's just not a real format.. Edh was scorned for years and now us Edh players have to hear everytime a new ducking card comes out with less than 4 cmc, "great for tiny commanders" and it's like NO. Edh is where the cesspool of bad cards and janky combos end up. Now we have to deal with the kids these days and their tiny commanders. This is just bull. It like modern and Edh had this cardboatd crack baby that neither really wants but they're both too high moral-ly to abort it. It's just..   bad. It's bad and wrong, and there should be a word for this format... Badong.
I've been playing EDH forever. I know this feeling. Tiny leaders is another variation like French or Pauper. I'd accept it into the community. I mean, will I play it? A little bit maybe. Will I religiously play it? No

Wow, that's kind of a ridiculous rant.  To be totally fair, the creators of Tiny Leaders don't really want it to be known as a subset of EDH, rather it's own format.  It bends the construction rules and commander mechanic borrowed from EDH, but that's it.  From my experience, it's a much cheaper way to play competitive 1v1 than classic Duel Commander, and the speed of the format is actually really fun.  Don't knock it until you try it, and if you don't like it, just don't play it and don't rag on those who play it.

I mean, how do you think those who played 100-card Highlander felt when EDH became popular?

Yeah I heard something about them trying to add it to a core set. Modern Masters 16/17 is almost a given I think. It is what it is

And back on topic about actual cards

{Mayael of the Anima} foil is quite high

I feel compelled to answer for myself as to why I don't like Tiny Leaders. The main reason is the three CMC limit. It just looks like EDH lite, and I'd much rather play the full version. I'm all for rule restrictions and such to make the game more interesting and decks more unique and diverse, but Tiny Leaders cuts out a ton of my favorite cards. I have never played it, and I feel like maybe I should just to make sure I don't like it. It just doesn't appeal to me in concept on any level. I mean all my favorite Commanders are around the 6 mana range. Reanimator, one of my favorite archetypes? Useless. All the solid reanimate spells are 4+ mana.

On card related notes, {Siege Rhino} seems to be climbing again.

MuggyWuggy

Glad I didn't buy a playset at 75-80 each last night.

Where's the {splinter twin} gonna go?
