Sorry to just jump in, Ive been curious about price drops as well.  Why have they has it happening (like Sarkhan dropped from $30-$20 last I checked)?

Most new cards come down, and I think MTGO redemption is now available. You can buy a set online for like $60, and have the se sent to you for $10. This floods the market with cards.

Mantis rider plunged quite a bit since the pro tour. Anyone see it going back up?

{Siege Rhino} and {Mantis Rider} have fallen back to their original khans prices, I feel like every player has their playset and now it's about adjusting to THAT meta

What are high and low prices even for? I know that people sell by low prices often, but how do they find those prices? They don't seem to have much correspondence half the time.

Low price is arbitrary sometimes as people may not see a price jump, there is only one of, and some other factors.

On average I find buying on eBay to be between low and mid. But some items are easily auctioned off past high.

Most buy it meows are mid to high on eBay

Prices are odd though, TCG is selling all of them (LP and NM, not damaged) for $12 or less. I'd pick them up now at TCG while they are in the $8-12 range, they might sink a little lower, but you won't regret having fetches.

Zendikar fetches are slowly coming down, if you are going to play with them, and don't think they will be reprinted, I'd buy them now. If you are going to play with them, I'd wait until Fate Reforged, just in case (WoTC might want all of the fetches to rotate out at once). If you are just speculating, or picking them up to have them, don't. I think between Fate Reforged, Dragons of Tarkir, Modern Masters 2 (not yet announced), Magic Origins (probably the name of M16, although not confirmed), and the fall set (fingers crossed for Return to Zendikar), they will see a reprinting. Even if they don't, chances are they won't rocket anytime soon.
