Very interesting. I've considered putting black into my mono blue control. I have a set of both Downfalls and Seizes, so I think that I could do it without having to lose an arm and a leg.

It is more than that though.  It has really shaken up standard. Theros block prices are heavily fluctuating now and new interactions are being developed. Overall, these two sets are melding together quite well.

I thought {Pearl Lake Ancient} would be a good control card. Being uncounterable and capable of saving itself is pretty sweet. Flash and Prowess are just bonuses.
