I think {Clever Impersonator} is destined to remain high in foil. For EDH it's basically the {Sol Ring} of Clones. There are few reasons not to play it, if you're running a clone. It was printed at Mythic also. I've been wrong in the past, and Khans is going to be opened a TON over this year - $30 is a steal if you ask me.
Thanks, your opinion was the one I was hoping for because I play EDH exclusively.  I feel this card has so much utility but I didn't want to buy one if it will likely drop. Plus I found it for $25 and thought that was fair.

Okay, one week (after rotation) update. Listed as; Card Name: Current Price, Change since prerelease
{Flooded Strand}: $17.50, -1.00
{Polluted Delta}: $20.00, -0.87
{Bloodstained Mire}: $15.00, +0.00
{Wooded Foothills}: $16.75, +0.59
{Windswept Health}: $16.22, +0.27

This isn't quite surprising, Shocklands also took a while coming down. Right now people are picking them up, for standard and other formats, but they will likely slowly come down to the $10-16 range over the next one or two months ({Hallowed Fountain} for reference: http://www.mtgstocks.com/cards/378 ). Its also important to note that prices will likely be very volatile right now because standard is trying to figure itself out, price jumps (like {Goblin Rabblemaster} or {Mantis Rider}) are to be expected. Now to look at Zendikar fetches.

Name-Price a Year Ago-Price Three Months Ago-Price 21/9/14-Price 3/10/14
{Marsh Flats}- $31.99 - $39.90 - $31 - $29.97
{Arid Mesa}- $31.16 -  $42.78 - $38.86 - $36.07
{Scalding Tarn}- $52.24 - $73.27 - $52.12 - $54.99
{Misty Rainforest}- $52.10-   $71.68 - $54.97 - $50.99
{Verdant Catacombs}- $39 - $48.94 - $39.49 - $38.29

Not surprisingly, {Misty Rainforest} took the biggest hit, as many of the decks that play Misty (Pod, GU Hexproof, ect.) would rather run {Windswept Heath}.

Naturally. It's part of an awesome standard combo.

The Modern "Storm" combo with it is supposedly a turn 2 win, consistently turn 3. Should be interesting to see how it plays out.

Who's ready for the ban then?

gtfotis

Wow, $20 foil 😍
I thought it was a junk pull at prerelease too!

Dudecore

I hope they don't ban it yet. Give the meta more then 2 weeks to adjust to the new combo. It'll be reigned in soon enough, if not then it's ban time.

WotC has said they don't want consistent turn 3 combos. Also, the combo can use {Sylvan Caryatid} to combo, making it hard to disrupt for some colors, namely White, Red and Black.

But it could just be a Meta thing. Like the consistency of it. Isn't it weak to removal? In any case, I think Modern can use a new arch-enemy for a little. I think that {Splitter Twin} was a turn 3 win for a long time, then players adjust by knowing which pieces to remove. It's nice to see another powerful deck enter the format, I wouldn't be so quick to throw the ban hammer at it. Black can deal with it by using {Thoughtseize}, White can {Banishing LIght} and whatnot. Red can presumably kill the creatures in other ways right, folding hard to Burn and {Eidolon of the Great Revel}? The meta isn't even full of mono-colored decks. Red can't stop {Splitter Twin} and other things, most decks can't stop {Scapeshift} + {Maze's End}. They're not exactly turn 3 wins, but could potentially be.

This is price discussion however, I'd be glad to continue it elsewhere.

{sylvan caryatid} is still on the multicolor hype train. When does she stop? $15? $20? $100?

I'm amazed that {Anger of the Gods} isn't on the exact same upward trajectory as {Sylvan Caryatid} and {Courser of Kruphix}. It is an extremely pushed answer to both of those cards. {Courser of Kruphix} I can understand because it was in Born of the Gods, and no one opened Born of the Gods. {Anger of the Gods} just seems like such a great answer to both of the cards plaguing the meta right now. It's even helpful mainboard against the previously discussed {Jeskai Ascendancy} problem we have now.
