Just because it's a common, does that mean foils are more likely than if it were uncommon or rare?
Yah I think so

No way it can hold that price at common while in rotation. Delver is at 15 only after rotating.
It's a common {ancestral recall}!
No, it isn't really close. Its a good card, but it's a sorcery, it requires you to exile 7 cards from your graveyard (to have the same casting cost), and {Remand} hurts. Is it good? Yes. Is it {Ancestral Recall}? Stop kidding yourself.
Clearly the op was being serious and not making a joke. Good job on proving him wrong.
It's hard to tell because there are people who are seriously making that statement.

Edit: Why do you think the foil price is so high? (Rhetorical question...)

Clearly you know who is being serious and who us not?????

Clearly making a statement proves someone wrong????

Good job.....clearly

Bob Huang's Legacy U/R Delve(r) deck plays 4 copies of {Treasure Cruise}. It did some super heavy lifting. He made Top 8 I believe.

Edit: at thus weekends SCG Open in New Jersey.

I think it's clearly safe to say that treasure Cruise has an incredible name, and it clearly is a great poor man's recall.

I enjoy names like that, it's silly, like {Kitchen Finks}. But {Ancestral Recall} isn't legal in Modern or Legacy. It could see some Legacy play, I doubt modern...and it's only at common. I can't imagine the foil version will be worth much.

Exactly!  Poor mans version is the best way to put it.  The card can, in fact, do the same thing recall does.....so who cares if that is what people call it.

Just like {temporal mastery} was the poor mans version of {time walk}

Back to prices.

How about that {glittering wish}

what about foils like {ponder} and {serum visions}?  those are commons and the foils are bonkers. so its not impossible for treasure cruise to hold value or go up.

Bob Huang just won that SCG Legacy tournament with 4 {Treasure Cruise} and 4 {Dig Through Time}. So it's possible that both of those could be worth money. They just became legal Thursday, and 2 Khans cards already won a tournament. There is still a lot of decks for either of those cards...

Edit: 3 Khans cards: 4 {Treasure Cruise}, 4 {Dig Through Time} and X {Monastery Swiftspear}

I believe the deck you're referring to only had 4 {Treasure Cruise} and X {Monastery Swiftspear}. Did not see any {Dig Through Time}, though lists haven't been posted yet.

Considering cruise is a common and swiftspear is an uncommon, I don't see them being more than a couple dollars at most for swiftspear, and at most a dollar on misstdo...I mean cruise.

Ugh, none of those decklists are up yet! I really want to see that UR Delver list.

On another note, {Deathrite Shaman} looks like it has bottomed out: http://www.mtgstocks.com/cards/19822

Edit: Well hello there {Sylvan Caryatid}. When did you get up to $14? http://www.mtgstocks.com/cards/21451

NyghtHawk

The problem is the gamble on foils of {Treasure Cruise}. Cards looked awesome in play and will be but the set barely is opened yet and its a common card and already in the 15-20 range. It would be obscene and unheard of for it to go more than that. Look at Delver. Common and the foils didnt see levels like that until after rotation and still sitting at the 15 mark to this day.

Decklist went up, 4 {Monastery Swiftspear}s and 4 {Treasure Cruise}s, no {Dig Through Time}s
