Maybe I'm crazy but I figure it's just a $19 investment.  So I bought 30 of these guys at $.64 a piece.  I don't think it is {goblin rabblemaster} sleeper.  Rabble pre-sale was around $1 or less too.  I just think it is a decent card that may hit on the $3 range if it gets picked up in constructed somehow.

If not then 30 sit around in my collection 😜

People are talking about playing 4 {Treasure Cruise} in delver, which seems like a lot. That being said, people on the source who have tested Cruise have said it was great, and I think it will be very played. And yes, between decks running fetches, wastelands, free counters and cheap spells, getting to 7 cards is easily achieved in fair Legacy decks. It is possible that BUG control lists can now remove {Shardless Agent} and {Ancestral Vision} to put in more relevant spells and avoid the awkward constraints that Agent placed on card selection, since Cruise does what Agent into Visions wants to do in a more compact package.

{Dig Through Time} is also probably playable in legacy control shells, which care more about card quality than quantity.

Of course time will tell for both cards, but the initial reaction that I have seen is that cruise will be a thing. Whether it's good or not, people are going to try it.

interested to see if this can allow me to assemble my deck faster on a budget.

I'm not too sure.  its 4 mana to give 1 creature a +1+1.  seems like a lot of mana for a minimal effect.

It also pumps based on the number of creatures with 1/1 counters. In a deck with {Anafenza, the Foremost} its not unreasonable to have a 6/7 instead of a 3/4

Market for power is very narrow and condition dependent, and they have been on the upswing lately. Minty (unl) sapphire's have been going for ~$1k, and Lotus has been creeping up to 3 for nicer conditions.

Pecking order is more or less:
Lotus: 2-3k
Sapphire: 800-1k 
Recall: 700-900
Walk: 500-700
Jet, Ruby: 500-700
Emerald, Pearl: below Jet and Ruby
Twister: 300-400ish

The ranges are so varied though, it is extremely condition dependent.

I dunno, there hasn't been any random spike for the most part, just gradual growth that may have accelerated due to increased interest in Vintage from VMA on modo.

cause if your aggro and you give your team lifelink youve prolly made a huge life point swing that is hard to come back from. i honeslty only think his +1 is good, but i think its really good.

Yeah, but he's been out for almost a week now (prerelease), and he was spoiled almost a month ago.

most cards are not at their peak at the moment of prerelease. some cards take time for the mtg community to understand and value. prices will continue to fluctuate until the standard meta settles

What do you guys think about  {Deathrite Shaman}? He's just rotated out and only used in legacy now. I don't think he will ever be unbanned in modern but I want a play set to sit on for commander/casual.
But now or wait and see if he drops?
