So starcitygames was selling pre orders of {treasure cruise} for 9.99 and it sold out and is a COMMON.... Is this a card that is going to hold value or were those people just making a big mistake

Foil****

And it will see EDH play so it (as a foil) will always be $5+

That makes a lot more sense. Actually a reasonable price.

Ok  I didn't see which page I was on. Just saw the price and ran to my pre release box

Also: khans hasn't even been released yet..
So don't get so dedicated to these prices

Rasser

{Bloodsoaked Champion} is in the event deck. Might bring the price down.

{Dark betrayal} will be relevant SB and same with {glare of heresy}

A lot of these new exciting cards are awesome, but the theros block will now have a lot of fodder we previously ignored or just never saw as powerful before.

the foil price is currently more concerned with legacy playability. This card is basically ancestrL recall in that format.

Mattao19

Idk I'm not a fan of it in legacy. Legacy your GY is your hand you don't want it exiled it. Idk I guess that we will see but exiling your GY is not a good thing in legacy IMO

Falcon182

Disagree with Matteo and Taysby. Very few decks use their graveyards as their hands, and it's easy to have 4-5 cards in your gy by turn 2, most legacy games don't end in the first turn like people seem to believe... Though I think  {Dig Through Time} is gonna be solid in legacy as well, it'll be one or the other, not both that get play.

People are talking about playing 4 {Treasure Cruise} in delver, which seems like a lot. That being said, people on the source who have tested Cruise have said it was great, and I think it will be very played. And yes, between decks running fetches, wastelands, free counters and cheap spells, getting to 7 cards is easily achieved in fair Legacy decks. It is possible that BUG control lists can now remove {Shardless Agent} and {Ancestral Vision} to put in more relevant spells and avoid the awkward constraints that Agent placed on card selection, since Cruise does what Agent into Visions wants to do in a more compact package.

{Dig Through Time} is also probably playable in legacy control shells, which care more about card quality than quantity.

Of course time will tell for both cards, but the initial reaction that I have seen is that cruise will be a thing. Whether it's good or not, people are going to try it.

Maybe I'm crazy but I figure it's just a $19 investment.  So I bought 30 of these guys at $.64 a piece.  I don't think it is {goblin rabblemaster} sleeper.  Rabble pre-sale was around $1 or less too.  I just think it is a decent card that may hit on the $3 range if it gets picked up in constructed somehow.

If not then 30 sit around in my collection 😜

Falcon182

Haha. Nice. I bought 20  {Dig Through Time} at $1.20 each with high hopes as well. We shall see.
