Because only EDH and Modern players are really foil crazy, and they're not buying the card. Means it's gonna be useless out of standard methinks... I mean {City of Brass}.

In a format where you don't give 2 💩s about your life bc you "go off" t1 t2 or t3 confluence is a land that taps for anything with very little downside! Plus it doesn't ping you if you get {Rishadan Ported}

It's better than CoB in 99% of decks. But don't look at me idk price predictions lol that's why I come on here!

Side note: {Soldier of the Panteon} is he broken in a 3 colour set? Lol

{soldier of pantheon} will not be a used that much given the return of morph

Why would morph make any difference to {Soldier of the Pantheon}? There are tons of multicolored spells and creatures--he's going to be the best aggressive one-drop in the format unless they spoil something new and better.

Because it blocks pantheon and it is a way to get multi-colored creatures on the board without the drawback.....but mostly because they block this guy.

I think Soldier will even be used in control .. He gains you a ton of life and is a fantastic blocker!!
