Ha! I ordered two for a Modern sideboard at $3 a piece....now they are $15. I love Magic...

The Magic environment is so saturated (paper). Staples will skyrocket so high after a few years unless something would be done about them. (ahem reprints ahem) People may hoard these (I'm looking at you Mr. Misty Rainforest) to the point of outright fear of selling them at present prices. Prices may fall after the burst of the Magic bubble. Meanwhile, let us enjoy MTGO.

I actually like it the way it is. The only change would be to see a few reprints, not a massive scale. We don't need this game to turn into another yugioh, where everything was so over reprinted that nothing held it's value...

Well, a lot of cards still kept their value, causing the good decks to be staple decks in tournaments. Alas, paper Magic will have more ups and more downs.
