{Archangel of Thune} + {Brimaz, King of Oreskos} makes your little cat army pretty beefy if not dealt with. Just played a FNM last week with that combo +  {Elspeth, Sun's Champion} and the army was insane. Even with B wipe threats, a quick indestructible makes it awesome. Also, flying lifelink is always good, your chance of landing a hit is way better.

I think AoT price is def where it should be.

I think it's the block after this fall, but who knows I have been wanting filter land reprints. I know they aren't as pricey as fetches but they're amazing EDH lands. (Not many people have then for trade either, I think I've bought the few that I do own.)

Fetch prices are ridiculous.  Considering EVERY modern deck runs 2-8 of them they really need to increase the supply if they want modern to prosper. Barrier to entry will be too high for most players at this rate.

On a side note... Why oh why didn't I buy 100 play sets of scalding tarn at $10 each?! I'm so fail.

I feel like they would have to be. WoTC is pushing modern hard, but nobody is going to want to have to pay $700 to get the seven fetches they need. Why not just play legacy at that price?  Fetches are the only things keeping me from playing something that's not affinity. Which, rumor has it, has gotten expensive due to {Mox Opal}. Price check for validity!

Edit: Truth. Up over $50. Got my set at $30-ish.
