The cat relies on attacking though. The courser just needs to sit there gathering lands

I think it's to early to make judgements.

Black got a lot to

Sparkle Ninja

The big thing for black was {gild} because it allowed god creature removal, something it didn't have before.

DirtyMustachio

I have no problem attacking with the cAt

I missed the first 2 fnms after botg got released and last fnm didn't see a rg deck, so that's probably true,

I'm not saying it's bad, but it's not the best card in my opinion.  Your point of how it's changed standard is a really good point.  See brimass.  Strictly speaking, I think the cat is a better 3 drop.

Brimaz does very little, I was not hyped on that card at all. I play Esper every week, I'm very good in the mirror, it's the deck I play. Playing against green/red monsters lists that play domri, chandra, and courser are 100% more scary. My matchup against RG before courser was fine, I honestly had no problem with it. The fact that it makes carytid better by coming down after it and helping ramp more, is a 2/4, and plays so nice with domri, scry lands, chandra is insane. The card does more than just play a land. Just seeing what is on top is the most important part.
Brimaz hasn't affected the format at all. It's in some esper/ (u/w) sideboards which is bad. Control decks that side in all aggro are easily beat if the player is competent. It also hasn't revolutionized white weenies. White weenies needs spear in the three spot the most. The best application of it at this point is in esper midrange decks, which I do like very much. It draws a lot of hate there.

Courser also makes jund playable. It helps add all the little things jund decks need. It "draws" you cards by playing lands which makes thoughtseize better, helps you cycle through all 3 colors, and helps utilize your set of 6-8 temples.
I'm not comparing the two cards just based off what they say, I'm comparing them based off how they apply to the decks they're in and how much better they make them.

Also, scavenging ooze and courser make aggro decks laughable matchups for g/r and jund monsters.

Extremely well put!

{Porphyry Nodes} jumped and is sold out. GG pro tour

Lots of cards in that list to keep our eyes on, looking at you {Snapcaster Mage} -- since he was played in a majority of the decks

I don't think that {Amulet of Vigor} will stay high, I guess it settles in the $3-4 range. The deck is really hard to play correctly and it is quite fragile.

Yes, considering a pro lost by being unable to pay the 9 mana upkeep of two pacts :P

Sparkle Ninja

'Twas a sad thing to see. I applaud his opponent though

Would devotion to colorless count {2} as 1 devotion or two? I think it is technically only 1, because it counts mana symbols. Also, Di-hybrid (2/W) mana would be a headache.

When did {Archangel of Thune} jump to $30?
