You have to find a way to tap him, and attacking could cause him to die, so he's not exactly like bob.

Oh, I see. In the back of my mind I knew that, but I still was like "untap step = every turn" so I got confused, haha.

Also if your opponent finds a way to tap and untap him multiple times per turn they can activate his ability a lot and force you to draw a lot of cards with potentially enough combined mana cost to kill you.

I dont think its moving anywhere. Cost too much, thats the big problem with it. Double the cmc of Snappy and you dont get a blocker to boot. Sure you get the second flashback but again, too expensive of a card to be playing that late in a game.
