Is anybody else as shocked as I am about {haunted plate mail} being as low as it is?
People keep buying a bunch after I beat them with it. It's freaking amazing. This is the closest thing to {celestial colonnade} I have seen since zendikar.

I've seen plate mail do some dirty things before. And {Celestial Colonnade} is up even higher.

I realize now that unless you've lost to a platemail it's power probably doesn't make sense. First off you can stack it's activation on other types of actuvations and create an army. For example: I have a keyrune, a {mutavault}, and two platemail, I can activate the keyrune and the mutavault but theyre are not creatures yet, their ability has to resolve so I can activate the platemails too and get 4 creatures that were immune to any wrath or sorcery speed removal. As long as you don't have a creature when you put his ability on the stack you are fine, it doesnt care any more when it resolves. Also equiping the following were a huge help in me get a game day mat; {woodlot crawler}, {snapcaster mage}, and above all others {blood baron of vizkopa}. Gaining 8 life stunted my opponent's ability to even deal damage. Protection from {turn // burn} won me a match. Finally the biggest part: it kills planeswalkers. Control can wrath easy, but then walkers rebuild too fast since we dont have the haste or sheer numbers need to combat a walker. {Detention Sphere} is only played out of desperation and often has to get used on something else or doesn't even get drawn. Now you can wrath, activate platemail and kill 90% of walkers as 4 damage is usually what is needed.

He's absolutely right on all of it. That mail is more useful than people believe

Why is  {Skaab Ruinator} so low?

Why is  {Skaab Ruinator} so low?

Doesn't work with the curren milling stuff. You're probably not going to wan to mill yourself out to get a 5/6 squishy flier out. And he makes you remove your cards from the game, so {Psychic Spiral} won't even save you. However, it used to be up around $10 for a bit, if I'm remembering correctly.

I remember when {Skaab Ruinator} was first spoiled... that hype was INSANE.

he was really good against Agro and could beat up on control every once in a while. I used to play a two of in my birthing pod deck back in the day when instead first released.

Don't know if its been asked yet, but what happened to make the fetch lands go up?
Modern masters, interest in modern, lack of any reprints for at least 1 more block. Oh and they're fetch lands :P it's likely star city bought all the cheap copies.

My friends and I think Onslaught reprints are more likely, which would be sweet. Especially since Modern has been named Wizard's eternal format.
I doubt it. You can get by fine with the zen ones and wizards tries not to hurt the legacy market if it doesn't have to.

Yeah, I think it'll be the onslaught fetches. They've gotten way out of control and it would decrease the modern fetches a little because we would have more options outside of the 5 zen fetches.

I played bug as well then it turned into junk and ended up becoming 5 color pod. {birthing pod} still my favorite card in magic.
