I'm hoping it's just new set hype. I wanted to preorder a playset at $15, but SCG was sold out by the time I tried. $40 seems insane.

$15 is about right. She is uderwhelming.

I remember {Sublime Archangel} was pretty much the same way...it was like $30 right after release but dropped pretty swiftly.  I actually think {Archangel of Thune} is "better," but really, very few cards in standard ever warrant a > $25 price tag unless they're also popular in eternal formats.

Even then....  Snapcaster has only ever been like, $23.

Where do you guys see craterhoof going? Also, what about deathrite shaman?

I think Shaman will be good at where it is for a while

Long run...I think deathrite is gonna be a money card. It's a multicolored 1 drop with 3 abilities that can be used in many deck builds.

It may drop a little when it rotates out but it'll climb back up there.

Deathrite sees a lot of legacy and modern play and will eventually climb up. It's a pretty amazing card
