All RTR has dropped substantially. Flooded market, long draft cycle, etc... Consider it'll be drafted for another month and a half.

He is already a modern staple. If he goes up any more than I would sell him at his peak. Maybe 15 bucks. Who knows...

{Sphinx's Revelation} is starting to drop. Went from $23 to $19. What's the deal with that?

1) They printed to much RtR. You can't print enough cards for everyone who wants them, then expect it to be worth money.

2) It's not "THAT" great. {X}{W}{U}{U} is a lot no matter what's attached to it. It's not a game changing top deck ({Bonfire of the Damned}), it's not a game changing beatstick ({Thragtusk}, {Thundermaw Hellkite}, {Falkenrath Aristocrat}) it's a several mana tap out and do nothing, or draw minimum amount of cards (where you could play {Inspiration} instead).

3) Pros will pay any amount of money for the cards they need, when they need them. Once all the money players get their copy, prices become normal.

Did they print more RtR than they normally print of a set? Also, I agree with you. It's not the best. The life gain is a nice bonus, but there's other cards that are faster and less mana specific. Im just surprised its dropping.

I'd read (maybe on MaRo's blog) that they printed 6x more then usual, and sold out of it instantly. Who knows how much has been printed to this point.

Don't get me wrong, I understand more then anyone how awesome {Sphinx's Revelation} can be, but I just can't get it to do enough and win.
