I have a prototype of sorting / grading / accounting robot.

It can free human employee who is trained in handling expensive TGCs.
It will not leave skin residues on precious cards.
It will not 'appropriate' valuable cards before they are accounted for.
It does not require paid holidays, family emergency attendances, workers union membership cards, etc.
It works at consistent predictable pace.

Do let me know if you are interested in a copy of the arm.

Do let me know if you are interested in internship at https://propercode.co.uk where we develop the robot.

Terms and conditions apply ;)

Very cool. How does it grade? How does it treat surfaces? Back/front?

The purpose of its existence is to be consistent.

You feed it a stack and then it will split it into 1 or more new stacks.

Copy capable of handling sleeved cards is feasible but expensive, as of today. The price will drop as the technologies mature.

For grading it will compare scans of the card against base image, putting most weight on the state of the borders. BUILD THAT WALL! ;D

I really want it.

I think at your stage you would be better off investing these thousands of dollars into the web search engine and backend server. At this stage iMtG Arm would benefit someone with bigger pockets, who is already running a mature store and spending money on staff.

So it'd cost a lot?
And I already have all my developers

Developers are too expensive to use them to sort cards, as far as I'm concerned. AI which will replace junior Developers and Testers is not going to hit the market sooner than 2018, I reckon.

I just got a fantastic selection of fakes to compare against and I'll be adding LED testing module, so the thing can also put the fakes aside as it sorts through a collection.

its good start anyway i hope theres more update to this
