Mana base is always expensive. Look at all the fetches. I really think the shocks will be going up again soon.

Stay away from 2 color blue and it's very hard to go past $1000.
Karakas is a 2 of most in very few decks
Wastelands/port combo is only in dnt, and that's the most expensive part
Wastelands generally see play in delver, which is pretty budget other than force
Led is a 4 of in otherwise budget decks
Show is a 4 of in an otherwise budget deck

It only gets expensive when you need 3 seas, 2 trops, 2 volcanic and 4 force. :/

Lol dnt still needs vials and jites
Waste port is also in Lands but wasteland is very popular in delver strats that aren't budget bc their mana bases are 12 fetches and 6-7 duals
Storm is somewhat budget but LED + their manabase of 5 duals and fetches are high.
Snow and tell decks run {Sneak Attack} and 4 Emrakul 4 Gris + 4 {Volcanic Islands}

I mean yeah mana base is expensive, but really tho: legacy cards also retain value better. Highly doubt they will reprint {shardless agent} again, its been crawling up to $20 over the year

Decrease in tournament support and "the end of legacy" might be a good thing if you want to buy in, then..
