He's cheap compared to a lot of other cards in the set. It might have something to do with the fact that that set is so old and maybe wasn't incredibly opened. I mean the basic mountain is worth more than he is

{Birthing Pod} is down about $0.25, {Linvala Keeper of the Silence} about $1.00 down. {Golgari Grave Troll} is up around $10.00, and the biggest loser is {Survival of the Fittest} down about $5.00 since 11 am EST Monday.

Since ban time: pod is down $0.70, Linvala has recovered, and survival is down $6. Grave troll is only up to $8 and change now

It was never supposed to be in the set. Arabian Nights was originally designed as a stand-alone set, but at the last minute was decided not to be. So all the basics were pulled from the presses but somehow Mountain slipped through the cracks.
