I am prepared to spend thousands on Return to Ravnica. I am afraid that I'm setting impossibly high expectations that I might turn into outright hatred for MaRo if it fails (which it only could, given the impossibly high expectations)

How fond is everyone's memory of Ravnica: City of Guilds? And in a world where 98% of everything is a sequel and cash-in on previously established greatness (every videogame is a sequel to something were all fond of, every movie is a sequel to a previous blockbuster). Is Ravnica doomed to suffer the same cheap, corporate, cash-in?

Why spend thousands when you can pre-order a complete playset with mythics for $1200?  I am considering preordering a playset minus the Mythics for $350.

I don't know about you guys, but I never buy singles if I have a chance of getting the card in a pack that I can buy at a local card shop. I just like that uncertainty I guess. Plus if I get something better I can always trade it for what I wanted.
