Here is a thread for infinite combos only. Combos that have no end until someone loses or the user decides to stop. This is for commander so obviously one of each card. No more than four cards please as the realism and utility when building is lost at that point.

If you don't understand or think a combo doesn't work post it in rules or discuss in the combo section so this isn't cluttered.

Kaleo42

{grand architect} + {pili-pala}
Infinite colored mana

Kurama

{Arcanis, the Omnipotent} + {Mind Over Matter} + {Elixir of Immortality} is infinite life.

Draw 3 with Arcanis (Arc), discard one with MoM to untap Arc. Do that until your deck is drawn. Tap all your lands, discard your hand/deck except for Elixir to untap and retap lands a ton and play and crack elixir. Do this infinitely.

Here's one that accidentally made it into my {Karador} deck I made for one of LadyGrixis's challenges. It's more or less my win con now.

What you need:
• {Phyrexian Altar} on field
• {Eternal Witness} either on field or in the grave
• {Blood Artist} either on field or in the grave
• {Living Death} in hand
• At least three other creatures on field or in grave

What to do:
1. Do whatever you need to do to get enough mana to cast {Living Death}.
2. Sacrifice all your creatures to {Phyrexian Altar} for whatever color mana you need. (I just go with {B}.)
3. Cast {Living Death}, getting back all your creatures.
4. For {Eternal Witness}'s ETB, get back the {Living Death} that's now in your grave.
5. Sacrifice all your creatures to {Phyrexian Altar} for {B}{B} and whatever else you want.
6. Recast {Living Death}, getting back all your creatures.
7. Repeat ad infinitum until you kill everyone with {Blood Artist}.

Yeah, it's a bad combo, but it's unexpected, and it embraces my deck's philosophy of sacrificing your creatures to gain value and to win.

Was gonna neg you kaleo for putting this nonsense up but ill resort to:

BOO-URNS!

BOO-URNS!

(Infinite combos and lockdown decks = dick EDH)

It's equally as important to those who do and dont play them. You dont want to get blind sided when they show you half the combo and you think nothing of it till it's too late.

{deadeye navigator} + creature that untaps something when it enters ({pestermite}, {zealous conscripts}, etc.) + {gilded lotus} or a land that taps for 3+ mana (easily done with {simic growth chamber} and {vorenclex voice of hunger}

To make it simpler: {Deadeye Navigator} + {Palinchron} = infinite mana on the spot.

More to the point, Deadeye Comboenabler + just about anything makes a combo.

Kaworu, the Fifth Child

{Grislebuddy} {Laboratory Maniac} {Horizon Chimera} I think it counts.

AdamS

{Archmage Ascension}+{Beacon of Tomorrows}+{Howling Mine} or any thing tht makes you draw extra cards.
search for 2 cards each turn use beacon for infinite turns

Sparkle Ninja

{Melira's gatekeepers} + {Requiem Angel} + {Mikaeus the Unhallowed} + {Conspiracy} + Anything that allows you to keep sacrificing creatures for infinite spirits

Sorry to burst your bubble, but your buddy is banned in commander :(

Brawler_1337

{Griselbrand} is. {Gristleback} isn't. Depends on which "Griselbuddy" he meant. ;)

(Yeah, I know he meant {Griselbrand}.)

Kaworu, the Fifth Child

Well, commander is a casual format, and I know no-one at either of my LGS's care about the ban list.

Brawler_1337

It's the opposite for me. Where I go, everyone follows the ban list.

Brawler_1337

I just discovered a new combo in my Karador deck today, though I already knew a variant of it.

{Mikaeus, the Unhallowed} + {Wickerbough Elder} + {Greater Good} = infinite draw

Or, more generally:

{Mikaeus, the Unhallowed} + {Wickerbough Elder} or any creature with persist + sac outlet = infinite sacking and infinite of whatever that sac outlet does

You may already know why it works with persist creatures (just alternate persist and undying triggers), but why does this work with {Wickerbough Elder}? Well, it's been ruled that +1/+1 counters and -1/-1 counters negate each other, and {Wickerbough Elder} always ETBs with a -1/-1 counter. When he dies with Mikaeus on the board, he gets the +1/+1 counter from the undying trigger, but it gets negated by the -1/-1 counter. Hence, undying never actually sees a +1/+1 counter on {Wickerbough Elder}, and so he can undie infinitely.
