The amazing economics that is Magic: The Gathering stocks. Buy low and sell on high to people that are following the hype train.

It blows my mind.

Its kind of difficult sometimes to be honest. A lot of people wont buy the card if its a once and done kind of thing (understandable), but with $1.00 cards, I dont mind picking up 4 for a chance of getting money back :) Its worked well for me so far

I see it works and I see the return can be pretty substantial, but I just can't get into it because I can also see spending say $20 for a possible return of $60, but the price drops and I lose out. I guess that's why stocks always worry me :p It can be manipulated so easily and change so fast.

I've seen that so many times, people sitting on money and talking about how much they made because a card jumped... Then they don't sell it and i just face palm

The common thing is to hear of the "wins" and you rarely hear about the losses

Rass

I hear a lot about losses. But it's usually after a trade and a card jumps.

The foil {Nourishing Shoal} 11-year old me pulled finally paid off.

I know a lot of people like the new art on {vendilion clique} and that card is good even if the art is a literal turd.

Indeed. I don't think people will buy into Nourishing Shoal for that much money. I wouldn't be surprised if that bubble pops shortly.

In other news, {Goryo's Vengeance} has spiked, and {Heritage Druid} is up to $25. I'm debating giving up on building my Bogles deck and just trading it into EDH cards, because all these price hikes are BS.
