Not very high considering it's a sideboard card at best.

He's good, but many would rather run something with higher power, like {Oreskos Swiftclaw}, {Spirit of the Labyrinth} or even {Sightless Brawler}

Why?
As long as you use sleeves ;-)
The old bordered cards have different backings. They usually say World Championship or something.

They're basically the same as proxies.  But if someone goes through the trouble of picking up gold-bordered cards, I'll gladly let them play them.

My LGS won't allow them for their EDH tournaments

I mean value wise will he be played in modern ?
He's a   {Leyline of Sanctity} on a stick

nah I doubt it. Just on a 2/1 body, which is super easy to handle. Not that it would need to be. Look at some things in modern that target an opponent:  {Gitaxian Probe},   {Inquisition of Kozilek}, and  {Thoughtseize} are all going to go through turn 1, and half of the time turn 2. If you're really wanting  {Vendilion Clique} to go through, waste a bolt on it I guess. And it's not like that first  {Grapeshot} copy can't hit it

Edit: well I went ahead and rewrote it anyhowsies 💁

nah I doubt it. Not really on a stick, just on a 2/1 body, which is super easy to handle. Not that it would need to be. Not too many decks in modern target your opponent (storm kinda I guess, but  {Grapeshot} will handle that in a jiffy) in order to win games.
Stick is a term referring to a dude 😉

I don't see it being a new Leyline though, seeing as how Leyline is free most of the time.

Makes sense, there are only 220 in existence, and were only given to select Wotc employees by Garfield.
