It seems Selesnya Hexproof is getting popular right now, but I predict it standing around about $8-9 for a little while.

Why is Selesnya Hexproof popular?
1) Reid Duke, 'nuf said
2) An aura good enough for Modern ({Ethereal Armor})
3) This dude---->{Fleecemane Lion}
4) Reprint of {Gladecover Scout} (another modern-class card)
5) Another Modern-class aura---->{Unflinching Courage}
6) Ravnica Shocks: make everyone want to go 2 or more color
7) other great stuff for the archetype like {Experiment One}, {Witchstalker}, {Sylvan Caryatid} and {Fiendslayer Paladin}.

1-5 are EXACTLY why I built it minus my playset of fleeces (pulled all from a box) and my Temple Gardens (always had) the deck cost me $20 and its quite competitive. I found out that in magic the jankier the better!

In my first match I had a guy playing Esper control (aka far/awayx10000000) so I side in 4x  {Beckon Apparition}. He won G1 but in G2 I had home to 1 with just my lion he aways it I respond with a Beckon lol so good!

I think ashiok will continue down. At best she is a sideboard card for the control mirror, the new drownyard.

Idk about Ashiok. A lot of my meta plays him/her and a T3 Ashiok is very tough to deal with plus control just wants to buy time until they can drop Aetherlings or Obzedaddy so it shifts the focus from their life total to Ashiok forcing Aggro players to deal with it and not closing out the game. So I like Ashiok a lot

the problem is it cost 5 mana and requires two colors. It has it's places, like Bant control, turbo fog, and maybe (it's a stretch) a maze's end deck. If one of those decks do well, it will see a jump, at least that's how I see it.
