I have been seeing a lot of random decks in here that to my opinion belong in the Casual thread.  IMO Vintage generally runs the P9 and other cards like {Tinker}, {Sundering Titan}....who sucks except in vintage, {goblin welder}, {tolarian academy}, and yea pretty much like $10,000 decks.

Not at my PC to do a poll but give me some feedback here folks.  Do you want us to keep this vintage area as a Competitive Vintage section or an anything goes Vintage section?

A) Competitive - I will move decks to casual that do not quite fit this criteria....cept BlackJester's cuz he can post where ever the H€[[ he wants ;)

B) Anything goes

Competitive. There's already a section for casual decks, is there not?

Thanks for looking out for the forum, cltrn81.  I don't want to be "above the law".  If the people want this to be a competitive section, i have no problems taking my toys to the other sandbox.  The same rules that apply to you all apply to me as well, but I appreciate the sentiment.

My concern is that Spikes will have five dedicated sections for themselves (Standard, Extended, Modern, Legacy, Vintage), Johnnies will have Combo Corner, and will share Commander with Timmies.  Timmies and Johnnies then all get lumped into Casual, which is super-saturated.  It's hard to see what's going on in there when, but the time you post a deck, it's already on the second page.

I would like to see a section for Multiplayer decks, since I'm personally biased, but I do feel they are a different build than typical 1v1 decks.

Is Extended still a relevant format? I haven't seen legitimate deck talk going on there in months.

Very good point BJ.  The casual section does get pretty saturated and disorganized.   I like the idea of a multiplayer section as well.  I know BJ plays a ton of multiplayer so this will at least give you, and similar players, another avenue to post neat Jonny decks tailored towards 2HG, FFA, or even multiplayer Planechase.....or whatever else ;)

It still exists, but I think with the advent of Modern, it's role has greatly diminished.  I'd be fine with ditching it.

Competetive, but is people post their $500 vintage deck that they want to try to make competetive that's fine. Competetive, but not nessicarily tier 1 level.

I feel stating this is for competitive decks only is a little absurd, decks are full of theory and from what ive read and chatted with folks about is: vintage is a turn 1 or 2 win. So unless these decks can guarantee that, they aren't competitive..I believe vintage is rarely played compared to legacy.

So you have to read more. Damn you Internet for providing too many sources of info!!!!
