How to restart iOS app?

Quit and start the app again. Quit by double-tapping the Home Button, and then dragging the app you want to quit out of the list of apps.

How to restart iOS device?

Press and hold the Power Button until Power Menu appears. Follow the instructions there to power off your device. It will take some time to shut down the system, depending on the device's power and utilisation. After it shuts down, power it up by pressing the Power Button.

Does iMtG app automatically update?

It will not if you do not have your device set to update apps automatically. Check it in iOS Settings -> iTunes & App Store -> Automatic Downloads -> set Updates switch to Off.

Does iMtG database automatically update?

Each time it finds appropriate update on iMtG Server it should ask for confirmation before downloading and updating Card Database. It checks the server shortly after the app is activated but no more often than once per hour. It will not check the server once your iMtG Server subscription has expired and no active sponsor is found. Current sponsor is Proper Code Ltd who are Surrey, UK based iOS and SAP B1 software specialists.

How to attach Console Output?

It is no longer possible to get device console logs directly from a device but you can retrieve crash reports from your device and send them to us via email by following these instructions.

1 Open Settings app
2 Go to Privacy, then Diagnostics & Usage
3 Select Diagnostics & Usage Data
4 Locate the log for the crashed app. The logs will be named in the format: <AppName>_<DateTime>_<DeviceName>
5 Select the desired log. Then, using the text selection UI select the entire text of the log. Once the text is selected, tap Copy
6 Paste the copied text in iMtG Main Menu -> Support & Feedback -> Mail and send to us.
