Title: Discussion Etiquette
Post by: FlickerYourOwnIdentity on July 18, 2013, 01:30:05 AM
Well everyone this is the Disscusion section.  This whole section is directed towards controversy, and debates, and interactions, and even a spot for old characters to make their entrance.

This section isn't so much fueled by the magic world, but more you all.  So naturally we have to set certain guidelines on the forum.

Rules:

0: When you state your opinion, provide arguments and logic backing your opinion. Discussion requires arguments.

1: We are all asserting opinions, which not everyone agrees with.  So it is apparent the risk of getting negative karma for what you say on this forum.  But in the end, karma is a number.  Karma is yours to give and take.

2:  Please post at a PG-9 level.  Anything above that shall be marked with an "NSFW" at the end of its title.  This ensures that the mother of a 8 year old browsing these forums doesn't click on an inappropriate topic, and cry about how it corrupted him.  Then the mom will get pissed, find a way to sue Piotr, then legal stuff will ruin the app for us all.

3: Things that include NSFW are included, but not limited to; Sex, Abortion, Contraception, Very Gore-y Topics, Blah Blah Blah...

4:  This is a place of social interaction.  HAVE FUN!!!  That's a reason this forum is here, fun.  And controversy of course, but remember FUN!  So have fun while you are on here! :)

Your karma is yours to give or take. If you are afraid of getting negatives, don't post controversial stuff. If you don't like something to the point of going Don't, well, just do it.

Having said that, it shows your maturity and civility when you refrain ;)

That was what I was going for at first.  Anyway, I did revise it.

Thank you for this, Flicker! I was wondering what NSWF meant.

I believe NFSW and NSWF are dyslexic versions of NSFW, which means Not Safe For Work.
