Version 1.2 is with Apple for review ;)
New:
Sounds, animations, quest points. It will also mess up your existing dungeon.
Huh? What is RPG?
What are some changes?
Ok, in the App Store now: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/rpg/id526988147?mt=8
I dislike some of the animations. Also, I dislike having to pay for a much incomplete app
Which animations? Paying is optional and incomplete can be applied to iMtG too ;)
Just started playing it since the update. I like most of the animations just not how much the health bar is blocked off when something is leveled up. Also I am now stuck in a section that my character can not move at all.

Here is a picture to explain.

Holy Cow how did you manage to do that :D No idea how that happened but to escape you probably need to shake the device and reset dungeon.

Hmm possibly because you were playing before 1.2 and the dungeon was messed up.
You got in there from the tile above it? I believe this has something to do with "messing up your dungeons". About animations, I think clicking on self is too fancy, as well as trying to go somewhere he can't find a path to. I like simple animations the best. About being incomplete, imtg is complete. The only thing you could say is incomplete in it is true predicate. Yes, it is still being worked on and getting better, but it is complete save for that exception (I would like to know your arguments on why it is incomplete). The rpg has nothing but life, xp, money, damage, mobs and the simplest dungeon. No use for light, dark or wealth, no actual role to play in a role playing game, no items to use, skills to learn or even player skills required. It is slow, soundless and without purpose except to get on higher grounds (says me who got 70+ levels deep on the pre-beta embedded on imtg beta version a while ago). There is not even an actual interface similar to a menu. You have no idea what the mobs are (if devils and lizards still exists on upper levels, you know what they are. But what are they doing together with a green toxin, a yellow something and a crab-like creature?). Investing in hp isn't really beneficial until monsters can 1-hit you, and what do the auto upgrades to light and dark do anyway? Oh, and I would like something explaining why I sometimes deal 15 dmg and sometimes 3, as well as every other rule of this world if I am to truly like it

iMtG is as incomplete as can be. Starting with Life Counter: no way to store match history nor link with friends nor decks. No way to record matches (as in, player 1 played this and that on turn 1). No 4 man mode. No proper scrolling between pages in multiplayer. No themes nor user skins. No sounds. No tokens, no multi counters (storm etc.). No way to post recorded matches on Gathering. Piss poor performance on weak devices. I could go on and on wit the rest of the modules but I think you get the idea.
Back to RPG: there's use for Light and Dark and Wealth (pro tip: check the app description in the app store). Soundless? Check your mute switch, mate ;] You play the role of your own Touch ;) You shake to get the interface similar to shake menu :P The point of the game is the same os other RPGs: improve your avatar.
Also, you are not really the target of this little game: your 3 year old daughter is ;) The best way I know of to look up RPG in the App Store is to search for 'baby rpg'. The animations reflect that, little people love lots of particles flying around.
I was continuing a dungeen from before the update and went through a door like this,
http://instagram.com/p/YambWymQvd/
And then the door disappeared. I went ahead and reset the dungeon.
I meant to say music less. On that note, the move sound seems to only work 60% of the time. Dark and wealth are no use as 2 indicators, you could have just 1 of them. I understand what you meant about the target of the app, though I don't have any plans to have a child in a near future, much less a 3 years old one. You should really put music on it though, specially if you are willing to attract children.
I think we will have to agree to disagree on what is an RPG and about app completeness
Can you choose what stats get upgraded? I just keep getting light and chaos

Yes you can.
You press and hold or read the App Store instructions ;]
Which one is HP?
Edit: and not the most exciting rpg to be honest
Lol, true ;]
Gave it a go. Had no idea what was going on, just tapping the screen. Lacks some of the depth and rewards that make games fun to play. If the player has nothing on the line and no concept of what is at stake, then usually it won't keep their interest.

I agree, needs more princeses to rescue (or something else). A map power up would be sweet, something that reveals all squares within 2 units, regardless of walls? Moving badguys is alright, but then you could avoid fighting them all together. Having to find a key before you go to the next floor?

Thanks! I got stuck on both my iPad and iPhone.
This feels very similar to nethack/rogue. I love it.

Imagine an item which would let you to see into rooms before entering them, ha!

Imagine a little purple part of your Touch on the border of the screen, pointing at the direction of the off-screen pulsing purple place, and disappearing when the pulsing place appears on screen. I wonder if they have a patent on that idea?
I played it and thought it was pretty decent, seems the entire point of the game is to improve your stats, but in most RPGs, stats aren't the main focus of the game, the story, your characters appearance and equipment, and the other characters that you meet throughout are more key aspects than those numbers ;) but I still like it.
I wanna create apps!! Teach me how pleaseš¢
You start with an idea.
Should I get this game?
I'm giving it a go
I will when I get better wifi:/
Just downloaded...
