I love the classic sealed draft, too.

Sometimes I enjoy the awful rounds of packs more than the crazy good ones, because I love the challenge of making a deck that rises up to triumph. It's not as fun if the people around you just hand you the winning cards!

Deck building is my favorite part about this game.  I really enjoyed the booster draft over the sealed draft.  I liked being able to judge what card would come back around and when it did that was just a huge pay off.  But I coulda used that Golgari gate that I let go around and it never came back.  Either way building decks and trying them out is the best.  Drafting just makes it fair since everyone is limited to the same card pool.  The people I play casual with hate my decks cuz they tend to stomp the competition.  I felt kinda bad when my one friends I had not seen in so long was bragging about this awesome elf combo deck he built but the only time he was able to win with it was in a 2HG game with another elf deck as partner.  I beat him 1v1 every time before he had a chance to get off his unlimited combo.  Drafting just eliminates good cards that people own and makes people play more off skill instead of a massive collection.

I prefer sealed. Building a secondary deck as my sideboard is always fun.

I did this very thing last Friday. No real bombs to speak of, no high-value rares, but I still made a serious beatdown with my commons and uncommons. Won first place.

Good job man!!!
